Animal-rights activists in hunt protest
A number of animal-rights activists protested yesterday morning near the
nature reserve at Remerschen.
The incident started before 10am and police intervened, together with Mr
Roger Weber, the Mayor of Schengen. They negotiated with the six
protesters who were persuaded to end their protest and leave the site
peacefully around midday.
The protest had taken the form of the protesters using megaphones to get
their message across, as well as using posters. The hunt started at 7am
and lasted until 1pm.
